Media Tool
The all-new APEX and SOLIX G3 Series Media Tool provides content capturing and transfer ability to enable quick and easy sharing of everything Humminbird Imaging reveals under the water.
- Easily save and transfer screenshots and screen recordings to your phone via the One Boat Network App, so your best on-water moments are always ready to share.
- Access screen captures on your fish finder and transfer to your phone, allowing for a seamless viewing
experience. - Effortlessly share content to social media, so you can show friends and family how your Humminbird Imaging helps you stay on the fish.
Network+Updates Tool
Spend less time updating your electronics and spend more time fishing.
• Easily connect your Humminbird or Minn Kota products and the One Boat Network app to configure and use all Humminbird and Minn Kota products together on your boat.
Future Features (after updating to 6.090):
Important: To receive the following software feature improvements, users MUST download 6.090 on all products on the boat. Once 6.090 is installed on all relevant units, users will then be able to leverage the following features with the next software update:
- Wi-Fi Updates: Update your Humminbird and Minn Kota products (trolling motors and shallow water anchors) using Wi-Fi from a single Humminbird fish finder. Updates via SD Card and the One Boat Network app are still supported, giving you three different options to update your Humminbird and Minn Kota products.
- Single Unit Updates: Update your compatible Humminbird fish finders, Humminbird accessories, and Minn Kota products faster and easier with seamless software updates from a single Humminbird fish finder.
- Single File Updates: Update all XPLORE, APEX, and SOLIX G3 units on the boat with a single update file.
6.090 General Update Notes
The overall performance and functionality of APEX and SOLIX G3 units has been improved.
CHART/NAVIGATION
- Fixed an issue with i-Pilot Link and Advanced GPS Navigation trolling motor function presentation on the
Chart View. - Added +/- 30 degree offset to NMEA 2000 heading sources.
- Updated the “i-Track: Backtrack” menu in Instrument Views.
- Updated the Navionics Plotter Sync feature.
- Updated the GPS Tool.
WAYPOINT, ROUTES, and TRACK MANAGEMENT
- Synced the My Data Waypoints, Routes, and Tracks filters with the Chart View. Filters now affect waypoints,
routes, and tracks in the My Data Tool and the Chart View.
MEGA Live 2
- Improved marking waypoints on Live Sonar views when they are in a “zoomed in” mode.
- Fixed an issue with MEGA Live 2 disconnecting after extended connection times on APEX
and SOLIX G3.
MEGA Live 1
- Fixed an issue with MEGA Live 1 disconnecting after extended connection times on APEX and SOLIX G3.
SONAR 2D | DI | SI
- Updated the functionality of the sonar pinging on/off toggle in the Top Bar of Sonar Views.
- Fixed an issue with the “Local Transducer Disabled” pop-up menu.
- Updated the Sonar Recording Tool.
- Improved the functionality of Standby Mode on fish finders that do not have a transducer locally connected.
- Updated the functionality of MEGA 360 while using “pinch to zoom”.
SYSTEM
- Improved an issue with Dometic digital switching and engine gauges.
- Fixed an issue with software version reporting during network syncing.
- Updated the Engine Sidebar Widget.
- Updated the Fuel Tool.
- Updated the Timer Tool.
- Updated the Trip Log Tool.
- Updated the Alarms Tool
Important Notes and Prerequisites
Before you proceed! Software version 5.060 MUST be installed prior to 6.090. Please check your unit's current software. A link to version 6.090 will be provided below.
Important 6.090 Update Information
NOTICE! Keep the unit powered on until the update is complete to avoid instability or data loss.
- After version 5.060 and later software, SOLIX G3 and APEX cannot be used with SOLIX G1, G2, HELIX, or Legacy models on the same One Boat Network.
- Support for AS 360 SSI, TM, and TM UL is removed; MEGA 360 products are unaffected.
- Ensure the following accessory software versions (or newer) are installed for compatibility with version 6.090. These accessory updates are also included in the 6.090 file.

- SOLIX G3 and APEX must have software version 3.900 or higher before updating to 5.060; otherwise, the update will fail without damage.
- DO NOT turn off the unit during the update!
- Use a Class 10 SD or Micro SD card (max 32GB) with 2 GB of free space.
- Remove any other cards (e.g., LakeMaster, Navionics) before updating.
- After installing the update, the factory recovery will be updated to the current version, and you cannot revert to previous versions.
- Defaults will be restored upon completion of the update.
- Settings from older versions cannot be imported into 5.060 or newer.
