For optimal performance, we recommend that you use the Dual Spectrum CHIRP transducers for your HELIX G3/G3N or newer unit. Although some older model transducers will work with your HELIX G3/G3N or newer unit, they will not perform at the highest level that your Humminbird is capable of achieving with a Dual Spectrum CHIRP transducer. The non-Dual Spectrum CHIRP transducers compatible with HELIX G3/G3N and G4/G4N models are:
2D CHIRP Transducers
- XNT 9 20 T
- XNT 9 20
- XP 9 20
- XP 9 20 T
- XTM 9 20 T
- XTH 9 20 P
- XFM 9 20
Side Imaging and Down Imaging Transducers
Previous models of Side Imaging and Down Imaging transducers for HELIX and HELIX G2/G2N models are compatible with HELIX G3/G3N and G4/G4NSeries units. However, HELIX G3/G3N models will not upgrade the performance of a transducer or allow it provide a newer technology. This is due to different components used in the transducers, which help provide their respective capabilities and technologies. Thus, if a transducer was not capable of MEGA Imaging or MEGA Imaging+, connecting it to a SOLIX G2 Series model will not provide MEGA Imaging or MEGA Imaging+.
Our Transducer Compatibility Tool will allow you to select a Humminbird unit and a Humminbird transducer to discover their degree of compatibility.
If you do not have a transducer part number this tool may not help you at this time. If you do have a transducer part number and want to know what sonar frequencies your unit can use from this transducer, it will be helpful.
Currently this tool covers our Legacy (300, 500, 600, 700, 800, 900, 1100), Piranha, PiranhaMAX, ICE Flashers, HELIX, SOLIX and APEX models and current line transducers.
