Importing Nav Data into FishSmart

Importing Waypoint, Route and Track data into the FishSmart app?

NOTICE: As of October 03, 2022 the FishSmart App and single lake purchases are no longer offered in the App Store or the Google Play store as new purchases. All existing purchases and past downloads will continue to be available as long as the same account is in use.

Important! Since the FishSmart App is being replaced, it is no longer being updated, but iOS and Android continue to receive updates. This means that updates on your mobile device can cause compatibility issues (such as nav data imports not working) with FishSmart that will not be addressed. 

iOS 

  • Waypoints, Routes, and Tracks can be imported to the FishSmart app in .GPX format
  • You can use e-mail or use a messaging service like Facebook Messenger or WhatsApp to transfer that .GPX file to your device.
    Note:  You can convert your Humminbird waypoints routes and tracks to .GPX using the HumminbirdPC application. 
    Note:  Humminbird Onix models can export waypoints directly to an SD card as .GPX files)
  • Once the .GPX file has is sent to your device, click on the attachment and this will bring up options available for you to open a .GPX format file
  • Tap on the ""Import with FishSmart"" icon

FishSmart will then import the data in successfully and  display the message "Import Finished"

Android  

  • Waypoints, Routes, and Tracks can be imported to the FishSmart app in .GPX format
  • You can use e-mail or use a messaging service like Facebook Messenger or WhatsApp to transfer that .GPX file to your device. You can also manually copy the file to the device from a PC. 
    Note:  You can convert your Humminbird waypoints routes and tracks to .GPX using the HumminbirdPC application
    Note:  Humminbird SOLIX/ONIX models can export waypoints directly to an SD card as .GPX files)
  • Once the .GPX file is stored on your device, click on it and it will automatically launch in the FishSmart app.
