Can more than one 5 Port Ethernet Switch be used to connect multiple products?
AS ETH 5PXG
An individual network can support up to three AS ETH 5PXG switches connected in a daisy chain configuration. The network is limited to a maximum of four Humminbird® fish finders per network. Multiple Ethernet accessories may be connected, as long as no duplicate accessories (except MEGA Live 2)* are present on the same network.
Up to three sonar modules—SM1000, SM2000, and SM3000—can be connected simultaneously. Additional compatible Ethernet accessories include:
- Minn Kota® i-Pilot® Link™
- Advanced GPS Trolling Motors
- MEGA Live and MEGA Live Imaging TargetLock™
- MEGA Live 2
- Radar systems
- GPS and sonar devices
- NMEA 2000 backbones
- Future products (to be announced)
AS ETH 5PGL
An individual network can support up to five AS ETH 5PGL switches connected in a daisy chain configuration. The total number of devices on a single network is limited to 20. Multiple Ethernet accessories may be connected, provided that no duplicate accessories (except MEGA Live 2)* are present on the same network.
Compatible Ethernet accessories include:
- Minn Kota® i-Pilot® Link™
- Advanced GPS Trolling Motors
- MEGA Live and MEGA Live Imaging TargetLock™
- MEGA Live 2
- Radar systems
- HTML5-compatible products
- Additional future products (to be announced)
Note: The AS ETH 5PGL switch has more limited compatibility compared to the AS ETH 5PXG. For detailed compatibility information, please refer to this resource.

⚠️ Important: Network loops and multipath configurations are not supported with either the AS ETH 5PGL or AS ETH 5PXG switches.
