Side Imaging Beam Blocked by Motor

Side Imaging relies on an unobstructed view to the left and the right in order to provide a great 180 degree perspective on the world below your vessel. However, In some cases an outboard motor or other feature on your boat may block the right or left beam.

In this event, you can use an additional Side Imaging transducer, matching your original and linked via Y cable, to overcome this obstacle.

We have provided a diagram below and a chart featuring part numbers for your understanding and convenience.
