Which Humminbird models are compatible with Built-In MEGA DI on Minn Kota trolling motors?
The Built-in Imaging transducer on select Minn Kota trolling motors can provide either MEGA Down Imaging and Dual Spectrum CHIRP or MEGA Side Imaging and Dual Spectrum CHIRP sonar to select Humminbird models. A list of Humminbird models that are compatible with Minn Kota Built-in MEGA DI trolling motors can be found here. Prior to connecting your compatible Humminbird fish finder to the Minn Kota Built-in MEGA Imaging trolling motor, please make sure your software is up to date to the most current version, which is required to connect to the Built-in MEGA DI transducer and will ensure the best overall fish finder performance.
If your compatible Humminbird model is equipped with MEGA Side Imaging+ or MEGA Down Imaging+, the transducer in the Minn Kota Built-in MEGA DI trolling motor will provide MEGA Down Imaging+ returns of fish and structure below.
If your compatible Humminbird model is equipped with MEGA Side Imaging+, the transducer in the Minn Kota Built-in MEGA SI trolling motor will provide MEGA Side Imaging+ returns of fish and structure below.
If your compatible Humminbird model is equipped with MEGA Side Imaging or MEGA Down Imaging, the transducer in the Minn Kota Built-in MEGA DI trolling motor will provide MEGA Down Imaging returns of the water below your boat.
If your compatible Humminbird model is equipped with MEGA Side Imaging, the transducer in the Minn Kota Built-in MEGA SI trolling motor will provide MEGA Side Imaging returns of the water below your boat.
PLEASE NOTE: You can only view MEGA Imaging with a compatible APEX, SOLIX, SOLIX G2, SOLIX G3 HELIX G2N, HELIX G3/G3N or HELIX G4/G4N with MEGA SI/SI+ or MEGA DI/DI+. The built-in transducer cannot supply MEGA DI/DI+ or MEGA SI/SI+ to Humminbird models that do not already have the technology inside. If you have a CHIRP-equipped SOLIX or HELIX model that is not a MEGA SI/SI+ or MEGA DI/DI+ model, you will still be able to use Dual Spectrum CHIRP sonar from the Built-in Imaging transducer.
