I have a new ChartSelect Multilayer compatible Humminbird model and one that isn’t compatible. Can I use a Multilayer chart on both?
No, both Humminbird models must be compatible with Multilayer to view any of the charts you purchased.
If you purchase the High Definition Contours Layer (2D Map) only and want the ability to use it in older and new models, select the older model when downloading the chart in the ChartSelect Download tool. This will allow you to use the High Definition Chart in both models and will prevent you from adding additional Lakes and Layers to the SD card.
Notice! As of October 3, 2022, new single lake and layer purchases from ChartSelect are no longer available. Our new format allows only the purchase of LakeMaster Legacy regional maps, which are only available via download.
Any previous purchases will still be supported and function like normal. However, no new layers can be purchased, and there will be no future updates to existing layers.
