Sharing MEGA 360 in the One-Boat Network

Can MEGA 360 be shared between APEX, XPLORE, SOLIX or HELIX over Ethernet?

Unlike its predecessor, the 360 Imaging, the MEGA 360 is classified as a transducer rather than an Ethernet accessory. This distinction means that, unlike devices such as MEGA Live which operate independently on the network, the MEGA 360 depends on the Humminbird unit it’s connected to. That unit is responsible for processing and broadcasting the sonar image to other Humminbird devices within the network.

If the MEGA 360 is connected to a APEX, XPLORE, or SOLIX – it can only be shared over Ethernet to other APEX, XPLORE, and SOLIX units that have the same software version.

If the MEGA 360 is connected to a HELIX G3N or G4N with MEGA Imaging+, it can only be shared over Ethernet to other compatible HELIX units.

Sonar does not share between unlike Series/platforms.
