Slow Map Update when Zooming In or Out

NOTICE: If you are having slow performance with Lake Lanier, see this article: http://www.strategicfishingsystems.net/ticket/knowledgebase.php?article=69

Otherwise, see below:

A user reported slow performance upon zooming in our out on certain larger lakes. The map was taking a few seconds to update after he pushed the zoom in button. The following actions improved map zoom performance:

1. Download a file called "zoomlevel.zip" from the following link: http://www.strategicfishingsystems.net/downloads/updates/data/performance/zoomlevels.zip

2. Unzip the zoomlevel.zip file to a location on your computer. This will result in a file called "zoomlevel.txt".

3. Copy this zoomlevel.txt file and paste it into the folder(s) of whichever lakes are having zoom performance issues. The lake folders can be found at: C-->Program files (x86)-->Strategic Fishing Systems-->Contour Elite-->Lakes. In this folder called "Lakes", you will see several other folders representing each of the lakes you have installed in Contour Elite. You will need to paste the zoomlevel.txt file in whichever of these lake folders you are having issues with.

Another tip: Use the "zoom to area" tool to drag a box around the area of interest instead of pushing the zoom in button. The "zoom to area" button is a magnifying glass with a dashed-line rectangle around it. The button is to the right of the zoom out button.
