What are the differences between the various types of Side Imaging transducers?

XM 9 HW MSI T
A MEGA Side Imaging+ transducer, is made up of the following frequencies and beam angles: 83/200/455/800 kHz and 1.2 MHz 20°/60°/86° (2 beams)/55° (2 beams)
This transducer was designed for and comes standard with the following models: HELIX 8 MEGA SI+ G4N, HELIX 9 MEGA SI+ G4N, HELIX 10 MEGA SI+ G4N, HELIX 12 MEGA SI+ G4N, HELIX 15 MEGA SI+ G4N, HELIX 8 MEGA SI+ G3N, HELIX 9 MEGA SI+ G3N, HELIX 10 MEGA SI+ G3N, HELIX 12 MEGA SI+ G3N models.
Other transducers with the same beam pattern and frequencies include:
- XTM 9 HW MSI T– trolling motor
- XPTH 9 HW MSI T– plastic thru the hull
- SSTH 14 HW MSI+ T– stainless steel thru the hull (also requires Minn Kota MKR-MI adapter, part 1852088)
XM 14 HW MSI T
A MEGA Side Imaging+ transducer, is made up of the following frequencies and beam angles: 83/200/455/800 kHz and 1.2 MHz 20°/60°/86° (2 beams)/55° (2 beams)
This transducer was designed for and comes standard with the following models: APEX 13 MEGA SI+, APEX 16 MEGA SI+, APEX 19 MEGA SI+, SOLIX 10 MEGA SI+ G3, SOLIX 12 MEGA SI+ G3 and the SOLIX 15 MEGA SI+ G3, SOLIX 10 MEGA SI+ G2, SOLIX 12 MEGA SI+ G2 and the SOLIX 15 MEGA SI+ G2 models.

XNT 9 HW MSI 150 T

This transducer was designed for and comes standard with the following models: HELIX 7 CHIRP SI GPS G4
XM 9 20 MSI T

This transducer was designed for and comes standard with the following models: HELIX 12 CHIRP MEGA SI GPS G2N, HELIX 10 CHIRP MEGA SI GPS G2N and the HELIX 9 CHIRP MEGA SI GPS G2N models. Because of internal wiring and the added 1.2 MHz, this transducer would not add any benefits if used with any other products.

XM 14 20 MSI T
A MEGA Side Imaging transducer, is made up of the following frequencies and beam angles: 83/200/455/800 kHz and 1.2 MHz 20°/60°/86° (2 beams)/55° (2 beams)
This transducer was designed for and comes standard with the following models: SOLIX 10 MEGA SI, SOLIX 12 MEGA SI and the SOLIX 15 MEGA SI models. It can also be used with the ONIX 8 SI and ONIX 10 SI however these products will not gain any MEGA Imaging features.

XHS 9 HDSI 180 T
A high definition Side Imaging transducer, is made up of the following frequencies and beam angles: 200/83/455/800 kHz (20°/60°/86°(2 beams)/55°(2 beams)
This transducer was designed for and comes standard with the following models: 898c SI, 898c HD SI, 987c SI, 997c SI, 998c SI, 998c HD SI, 999ci HD SI, 1197c SI, 1198c SI, 1199ci HD SI, HELIX 10 SI GPS, HELIX 12 CHIRP SI GPS models. In addition, the following models are capable of using the XHS 9 HDSI 180 T. By upgrading to the XHS 9 HDSI 180 T, users are likely to see enhanced performance from the 455 kHz element but these fish finders will not support the 800 kHz elements in this transducer: 398ci SI, 598ci SI, 698ci SI, 797c SI, 798c SI, 798ci SI, 798ci HD SI, 899ci HD SI, HELIX 5 SI GPS, HELIX 5 SI GPS G2, HELIX 7 SI GPS, HELIX 7 SI GPS G2, HELIX 7 SI GPS G2N and HELIX 9 SI GPS models.

A compact Side Imaging transducer, is made up of the following frequencies and beam angles: 200/83/455 kHz (20°/60°/180°)
This transducer was designed for and comes standard with the following models: 398ci SI, 598ci SI, 698ci SI, 797c SI, 798c SI, 798ci SI, 798ci HD SI, 899ci HD SI, HELIX 5 SI GPS, HELIX 5 SI GPS G2, HELIX 7 SI GPS, HELIX 7 SI GPS G2, HELIX 7 SI GPS G2N and HELIX 9 SI GPS models.
