External GPS on HELIX 5 and 7

You can add an AS GRP or AS GPS HS to the following models using the AS YC cable that comes with the sensor. HELIX 5 SONAR GPS, HELIX 5 CHIRP GPS G2, HELIX 5 DI GPS, HELIX 5 CHIRP DI GPS G2, HELIX 5 SI GPS, HELIX 5 CHIRP SI GPS G2, HELIX 7 SONAR GPS, HELIX 7 CHIRP GPS G2, HELIX 7 DI GPS, HELIX 7 CHIRP DI GPS G2, HELIX 7 SI GPS, HELIX 7 CHIRP SI GPS G2 or the HELIX 7 CHIRP SI GPS G2N.

This is not a plug and play solution.  It does require some ability to splice wires and make an electrical connection.  If you have to use the AS YC cable, you must plan to mount the GPS receiver close to your head unit installation. This Y cable gives you 1' of cable to work with, and supplies power to the GPS sensor.

Important! The AS YC is not needed with HELIX 5 G3, or HELIX 7 G3/G3N and later.
