You can change the sonar color palette on your fish finder. The steps vary by fish finder model, software version and the type of sonar being displayed.
Side Imaging, Down Imaging and 2D Sonar color palettes are set independently. This allows you to use a different color palette for each sonar view.

Can I change the color palette on my Fish Finder?
Yes. The process to change the colors on your fish finder is different depending on whether you have an X Series or XPLORE, APEX, SOLIX, or HELIX unit as well as the type of sonar being displayed. Keep in mind that the color palettes used for Side Imaging, Down Imaging, and traditional 2D Sonar are all set independently. Many anglers will choose different color palettes for all three techniques. More details on adjusting colors and views on your fish finder can be found in its product manual.
