Taking Screenshots on Your Humminbird

It will depend on the model you have - please review your operations manual for details on whether your product has this option.  

HELIX

Required:
-32 GB or Smaller Micro SD (HELIX 7/5) or an unlocked SD (HELIX 12/10/9)

Steps:

1. Place a writable SD card in the card slot
2. Turn on Screen Snapshot Waypoint Feature
     -Press Menu (2) twice > Accessories > Screen Snapshot Waypoint = ON

3. Take a screenshot with marking waypoint
     -Press and hold the “Mark” button to take a screenshot. This will also mark a waypoint
     -To take a screenshot without marking a waypoint, turn off Screen Snapshot Waypoint > Menu (2) > Accessories> Screen Snapshot waypoint = OFF. Press and hold the “Mark” button to take a screenshot this will only create a snapshot

4. Exporting the screen shot images
     -Eject SD or MicroSD and download image to your computer

How to take a Screenshot on a Humminbird SOLIX and APEX

The Snapshot feature is enabled by default and the save location is defaulted to the internal hard drive.

STEPS:

1. Place an unlocked writable SD card in the card slot (32 GB or Smaller)
2. To set default screen capture save location
     -Navigate to the dashboard and select Images

     -Select Settings and set Screen Capture Save Location to Internal, SD Card 1 or SD Card 2

3.Take a screenshot
     -Press and hold “Go To” button to take a screenshot

     -The image will be saved to internal Hard Drive or SD card (which ever was set as default in step 1)
4. Exporting screen shot images saved to SD card
     -Eject SD or MicroSD and download image to your computer
5. If you did not insert a writable card and have images saved to your SOLIX’s internal hard drive you will need to export the screenshots from the internal hard drive to an unlocked SD card
     -Navigate to the dashboard and select Images
     -Press and hold your finger on the image you’d like to move. You can also use the Menu button to select the image.

     -Select “Copy” or “Copy All” (if you’d like to move all internally saved images)

     -Select desired SD Card Slot to which to save the image(s)
