Changing to Daylight Savings Time on a Humminbird

Daylight Saving Time can be configured on any Humminbird model equipped with GPS. However, the steps to perform this update vary by series. For detailed instructions specific to your unit, please refer to your Operations Manual or the steps below.

Please note that the time on your Humminbird unit is automatically set by the GPS system. Users cannot manually adjust minutes or seconds. Time is adjusted only by selecting your local time zone and the appropriate UTC offset.

If you're unsure of your UTC offset, we recommend consulting your local government or a reliable online source.

APEX, XPLORE, SOLIX G3 (Version 5.060 and Later)

  1. Power the unit on.
  2. Press the Home Key.
  3. Tap on Settings.
  4. Select Time and Date.
  5. Choose Local Time.
  6. Daylight Savings can be toggled On or Off at the top of the menu.

APEX, SOLIX, and ONIX (Version 4.210 and Earlier)

  1. Power the Unit on.
  2. Go to your Home screen.
  3. Select Settings.
  4. Select General.
  5. Scroll down to All Units.
  6. Choose  Time + Date.
  7. Select Local Time where you can turn Daylight Saving Time ON or OFF.

HELIX and Legacy

  1. Power your unit on in Normal Mode.
  2. Press MENU twice from any sonar or chart view
  3. Navigate to the Setup menu tab.
  4. Set or confirm User Mode is Custom or Advanced (depending on generation)
  5. Within the Setup menu, Daylight Savings Time will be visible and can be toggled ON or OFF
